Prompt, personal feedback from Sepp Eisele and his team
No special knowledge or physical fitness is required for a tandem paragliding flight. A fear of heights is generally not a problem either, as your gaze is directed towards the horizon during the flight.
Before take-off, the pilot will give you a detailed briefing. At take-off, the passenger and tandem pilot take a few steps forward together, lift off and fly. During the paragliding flight, you sit comfortably and safely in the harness and enjoy the view.
Yes, of course! This answer might surprise you, but a fear of heights isn’t actually a problem when paragliding. And how do we know that? Because we’ve taken many guests with a fear of heights up in the air, and none of them had any trouble with it. That’s because when paragliding, you’re not standing at the edge of a cliff looking down into the depths. Instead, you take a few steps, the wing carries you, and you’re sitting safely in your harness. Once in the air, you lose that direct connection to the ground, so there’s no fear of heights. Most passengers actually find the height fascinating and experience a sense of pure freedom.
The body weight of the paragliding passenger should be between approximately 30 kg (minimum) and 100 kg (maximum).
No, there is no age limit for tandem paragliding flights.
The only restriction is the paragliding passenger’s body weight, which should be between 30 kg (minimum) and 100 kg (maximum). For underage passengers, consent from a parent or guardian is required.
Yes, of course!
However, there are a few restrictions: the child must weigh at least 30 kg, and consent must be obtained from the parent or guardian.
For children whose weight is only slightly above the required minimum of 30 kg, we ensure that air conditions are calm, which is often the case in the early morning, for example.
We fly all year round! Every season in the Bavaria has its own charm and beauty.
Paragliding conditions vary depending on the time of day and the season. The most thermally active period is generally from March to October, whilst the winter months are often ideal for leisurely gliding flights.
As soon as we have a reliable flight weather forecast for the agreed date (usually one or two days before the flight), we will contact you and let you know all the details regarding the flying area, meeting point, clothing, etc.
If the weather prevents flying on the agreed date, we will arrange a new date at your convenience – all of this, of course, free of charge and with complete flexibility.
We fly all year round!
Tandem paragliding is available during the mountain cable car operating hours (usually daily between approximately 8.30 am and 4.30 pm), provided the weather conditions are suitable for flying. During the mountain cable car maintenance periods, tandem flights are only available on a limited basis.
The tour takes approximately 1½ to 2 hours from the meeting point.
Depending on the package you have booked, the paragliding flight lasts up to 30 minutes or up to 45 minutes. The flight time depends on the thermal conditions on the day of the flight and may vary. We always strive to make the most of the thermal conditions on the day of the flight to ensure you enjoy the maximum flight time and an unforgettable flying experience.

For individual enquiries, please send us an email to:

Extra tip: If you are only spending a limited amount of time near our flying areas (holiday), it is best to arrange a date for your paragliding tandem flight at the start of your holiday. This gives you the option of postponing the flight date if necessary, should the originally agreed tandem flight not be able to take place due to weather conditions.
Yes, no problem!
For larger groups or group bookings, we’re happy to organise the necessary number of paragliding pilots so that every passenger has a tandem pilot and all passengers can be in the air at the same time.
Paragliding is dependent on the weather and wind conditions. Whether the agreed flight can take place depends on the weather and wind conditions on the day of the flight. We can assess these on the evening before the flight based on the aviation weather forecasts available to us at that time.
We will therefore contact you on the evening before the agreed flight date (between 6.00 pm and 8.00 pm) by phone or via text message/email to let you know whether the paragliding flight can go ahead. You will also receive further information, if necessary, regarding the flying area, meeting point and pilot. Should the flight not be possible on the agreed date due to weather conditions, we will arrange a new date with you.
All our flying sites are located in the beautiful “Bavarian Oberland”:
All flying sites offer stunning views of the Bavarian mountain and cultural landscape; with a bit of ‘thermal luck’, you’ll also be treated to a magnificent Alpine panorama!
We generally prefer to fly from Wallberg and Brauneck; the decision as to which flying area will be used on the agreed date depends primarily on the prevailing wind conditions on the day of the flight.
Where possible, we are happy to accommodate requests regarding flying areas; however, ultimately the wind conditions on the day of the flight determine the location, as ensuring a safe flight is our top priority!
All our flying sites are located around 50 km in the south of Munich, and can be reached from Munich by car in about an hour. All flying sites are also easily accessible by public transport (Bayerische Regiobahn or bus).
Usual meeting points are:
Once you have met up with your pilot, you will take the cable car for the respective flying area up to the mountain station. All launch sites are within a few minutes’ walk of the mountain station.
If you wish, an alternative meeting point can also be arranged by prior agreement (e.g. meeting at the mountain station – if you wish to climb the mountain on foot beforehand).
Paragliding, and in particular tandem paragliding, is subject to strict legal requirements and safety regulations in Germany. Our tandem pilots have undergone thorough training and are state-certified and licensed. Our pilots have many years of flying experience and fly regularly. The majority of our paragliding pilots also hold additional qualifications, such as flight instructor status, cross-country flying experience, competition experience, etc.
We use only flight equipment approved for air sports and modern gear that complies with current safety standards.
In Germany, the certification of paragliders is governed by the Federal Aviation Authority and is carried out exclusively by accredited certification bodies, which must hold accreditation from the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS).
Our paragliders, harnesses and rescue systems are inspected for functionality and serviced at regular intervals by an independent body in accordance with legal regulations.
Every paragliding passenger is covered by insurance in accordance with legal requirements. Safety is our top priority, both in the selection of tandem pilots and equipment, and in the choice of flying sites and assessment of flying conditions!
Sturdy footwear is essential. Hiking boots, trekking boots or sturdy trainers are ideal.
Otherwise, please dress appropriately for the season. Outdoor, mountaineering or hiking clothing is ideal. As there is always a light headwind when paragliding, a windproof jacket (softshell, windbreaker, etc.) is recommended.
You won’t need any other equipment; we’ll provide you with a helmet suitable for air sports.
The cost of the uphill journey is based on the cable car fares. These are around €15 for teenagers and adults, whilst the price for children (aged 6–15) is roughly half that.
Before you buy a cable car ticket, please meet your tandem pilot at the agreed meeting point. If there are long queues at the cable car ticket offices, your pilot may have already purchased a cable car ticket for you. You can then buy it directly from the pilot, which may save you from having to queue for a long time at the ticket offices.
If you have booked an ALL IN ONE tandem flight package, you don’t need to worry about a thing; in this case, the cable car ticket is already included in the flight price and your pilot will have the ticket ready for you.
Our paragliding pilots are happy to record your tandem flight on HD video and in photos on request, using either a helmet mount or a selfie stick. After the flight, you can purchase the memory card containing the footage. The cost of the video package, including the memory card (micro SD card with adapter), is 30 euros.
If you have your own camera (not too large and with a suitable mount or securing mechanism), you are welcome to use it yourself.
Vouchers for a tandem paragliding flight are valid for a period of 3 years (the statutory limitation period) from the date of payment. An extension may be possible by arrangement.
Should the flight be cancelled due to weather conditions or scheduling conflicts, a new date will be arranged.
In the Brauneck flying area, ski flights are also available on request, provided there is enough snow at the landing site. ;-)
Paragliders don’t jump; they fly. That’s why it’s called a tandem flight, not a tandem jump, as is sometimes mistakenly referred to.
