Requirements for a tandem paragliding flight

Anyone who is physically fit and weighs between approximately 30 kg and 100 kg can fly with us. There is no set age limit – neither minimum nor maximum.

You don’t need any prior experience.
All you need to bring is a good mood and a sense of anticipation.

You don’t need any special equipment for your tandem flight, just:

• comfortable clothing suitable for the weather
• sturdy footwear

We’ll provide you with a flight-safe helmet and, if you wish, a windproof jumpsuit.

The start of your tandem paragliding flight

Personal welcome
After a personal welcome at the agreed meeting point – depending on the flying area – we’ll head to the launch site together. At Tegernsee (Wallberg), Brauneck or Blomberg, we can easily reach the launch site by cable car. From the top station, it’s just a short walk to the launch.

Alternatively, you can hike up in advance. Please let us know in advance so that everything fits in with the schedule and you arrive at the top on time.

Briefing before take-off
Before take-off, your pilot will explain exactly what is important for a safe flight. You don’t need any prior experience – everything will be explained to you clearly and at your own pace.

Please let us know in advance if you have any health restrictions so that we can make the necessary adjustments.

And then it’s: 3 – 2 – 1 – go!
With just a few steps, you’ll run alongside your pilot – and before you know it, you’ll be taking off. It’s important that you run a few steps with your pilot at the start until you’re in the air. Your tandem pilot will give you clear instructions that are easy to follow.

Many guests are surprised at how straightforward the take-off is. The sensation as you lift off is calm, safe and simply indescribably beautiful.

The flight: Tandem paragliding – just enjoy it!

Once you’ve taken off, all you need to do is sit back and enjoy the ride!
You’ll be sitting comfortably in a modern harness, just like in a ‘TV armchair’ – in the front row with the best view. The mountains, the panoramic view of the Wallberg and Tegernsee, or the Karwendel and the Isar Valley will take your breath away. Now you have time to let it all sink in at your own pace.

Fly, look, experience
During the tandem paragliding flight, you can chat with your pilot at any time. We’ll tailor the experience entirely to your wishes and how you feel:

• Calm & relaxed: a gentle gliding flight with impressive views
• Dynamic & action-packed: on request, flight manoeuvres with noticeable centrifugal forces – just like on a rollercoaster. Adrenaline included!

We make the most of the day’s thermal conditions to give you the best possible flight time. This ensures your tandem flight is not only safe, but also as long and unforgettable as possible.

The landing

The landing is very straightforward for you as a passenger.

Your pilot takes full control here too and ensures that you touch down safely and relaxed. All you need to do is:

• take a few steps forward or
• stretch your legs out in front of you whilst seated

And you’ll be back on solid ground in no time.

The landing is generally just as smooth and controlled as the entire tandem flight – often easier than many people think beforehand.
